This warranty covers manufacturing defects and shipping damage. It doesn't cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse or improper installation.

It's made from resin, so it holds up fine outdoors, but for best results avoid mounting somewhere that gets constant direct rain or extreme heat.
